Romans 3:3–4

[3] What if some were unfaithful? Does their faithlessness nullify The Faithfulness of God? [4] By no means! Let God be true though every one were a liar, as it is written,

“That you may be justified in your words,
and prevail when you are judged.”

2 Peter 3:1–13

The Day of the Lord Will Come

[1] This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, [2] that you should remember The Predictions of The Holy Prophets and The Commandment of The Lord and Savior through your Apostles, [3] knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in The Last Days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. [4] They will say, “Where is The Promise of His Coming? For ever since The Fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from The Beginning of Creation.” [5] For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and The Earth was formed out of water and through water by The Word of God, [6] and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. [7] But by the same Word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until The Day of Judgment and Destruction of the ungodly.

[8] But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. [9] The Lord is not slow to fulfill His Promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. [10] But The Day of The Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

[11] Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, [12] waiting for and hastening The Coming of The Day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! [13] But according to His Promise we are waiting for New Heavens and a New Earth in which Righteousness dwells.

2 Corinthians 1:18–22

[18] As surely as God is faithful, our word to you has not been Yes and No. [19] For The Son of God, Jesus The Messiah, whom we proclaimed among you, Silvanus and Timothy and I, was not Yes and No, but in Him it is always Yes. [20] For all The Promises of God find their Yes in Him. That is why it is through Him that we utter our Amen to God for His glory. [21] And it is God who establishes us with you in The Messiah, and has anointed us, [22] and who has also put His Seal on us and given us His Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

1 John 5:9–12

[9] If we receive the testimony of men, The Testimony of God is greater, for this is The Testimony of God that He has borne concerning His Son. [10] Whoever believes in The Son of God has The Testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in The Testimony that God has borne concerning His Son. [11] And this is The Testimony, that God gave us Eternal Life, and this Life is in His Son. [12] Whoever has The Son has Life; whoever does not have The Son of God does not have Life.

John 15:26

[26] “But when The Helper comes, whom I will send to you from The Father, The Spirit of Truth, who proceeds from The Father, He will bear witness about me

John 16:4–15

[4] But I have said these things to you, that when their hour comes you may remember that I told them to you.

“I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you. [5] But now I AM going to Him who sent me, and none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ [6] But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart. [7] Nevertheless, I tell you The Truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, The Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you. [8] And when He comes, He will convict The World concerning sin and righteousness and judgment: [9] concerning sin, because they do not believe in me; [10] concerning righteousness, because I go to The Father, and you will see me no longer; [11] concerning judgment, because The Ruler of this World is judged.

[12] “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. [13] When The Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all The Truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come. [14] He will glorify me, for He will take what is mine and declare it to you. [15] All that The Father has is mine; therefore I said that He will take what is mine and declare it to you.

Isaiah 51:11

[11] And The Ransomed of The LORD shall return
and come to Zion with singing;
Everlasting Joy shall be upon their heads;
they shall obtain gladness and joy,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
