1 Corinthians 15:1–7
[1] Now I would remind you, Brothers, of the Gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, [2] and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.
[3] For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Messiah died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, [4] that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, [5] and that He appeared to Cephas (Simon Peter), then to the twelve. [6] Then He appeared to more than five hundred Brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. [7] Then he appeared to James, then to all the Apostles.

John 8:24 — I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I AM He you will die in your sins.”
John 8:28 — So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I AM He, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me.
John 8:58 — Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
1 Corinthians 1:17-18 — For Messiah did not send me to baptize but to preach the Gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the Cross of Messiah be emptied of its Power. For the Word of the Cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the Power of God.
Acts 4:8–12
[8] Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the People and Elders, [9] if we are being examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, [10] let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Messiah Yeshua of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by Him this man is standing before you well. [11] This Jesus is the Stone that was rejected by you, the Builders, which has become the Cornerstone. [12] And there is Salvation in no one else, for there is no other Name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Psalm 118:22–23
The Stone that The Builders rejected has become The Cornerstone. This is the LORD's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.
1 Corinthians 1:21:24— For since, in the Wisdom of God, the World did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Messiah crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, but to those who are Called, both Jews and Greeks, Messiah the Power of God and the Wisdom of God.
2 Corinthians 5:18-21; 6-1 — We are Ambassadors for Jesus of Nazareth
All this is from God, who through the Messiah reconciled us to Himself and gave us the Ministry of Reconciliation; that is, in the Messiah, God was reconciling the World to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the Message of Reconciliation. Therefore, we are Ambassadors for the Messiah, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of the Messiah, be reconciled to God. For our sake He (The Father) made Him (The Son) to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him (The Son) we might become the Righteousness of God (The Father). Working together with Him (The Son), then, we appeal to you not to receive the Grace of God in vain.
1 Corinthians 1:30-31
And because of Him you are in Yeshua the Messiah, who became to us Wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 2:2 — For I decided to know nothing among you except Yeshua the Messiah and Him crucified.
Galatians 2:20 — I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
1 Corinthians 2:7-8 — But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1 Corinthians 3:7-9 — So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.
Our Rock - Our Only Sure Foundation
1 Corinthians 3:11 — For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 2:14:17 — But thanks be to God, who in Messiah always leads us in Triumphal Procession, and through us spreads the Fragrance of the Knowledge of Him everywhere. For we are the Aroma of Messiah to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a Fragrance from Life to Life. Who is sufficient for these things? For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's Word, but as men of sincerity, as Commissioned by God, in the Sight of God we speak in Messiah.
Ministers of the New Covenant
2 Corinthians 3:5-6 — Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us sufficient to be Ministers of a New Covenant, not of the Letter (the Law) but of the Spirit. For the Letter kills, but the Spirit gives Life.
2 Corinthians 4:1-6 — Therefore, having this Ministry by the Mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's Word, but by the open Statement of the Truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the Sight of God. And even if our Gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this World has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the Light of the Gospel of the Glory of Messiah, who is the Image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Messiah Yeshua as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Yeshua's sake. For God, who said, “Let Light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the Knowledge of the Glory of God in the face of Yeshua the Messiah.
James 4:6–10
[6] But He gives more Grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives Grace to the humble.” [7] Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you. [8] Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. [9] Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. [10] Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
2 Corinthians 7:9–10
[9] As it is, I rejoice, not because you were grieved, but because you were grieved into repenting. For you felt a Godly Grief, so that you suffered no loss through us.
[10] For Godly Grief produces a repentance that leads to Salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death.
James 5:7–12
[7] Be patient, therefore, Brothers, until the Coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. [8] You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the Coming of the Lord is at hand. [9] Do not grumble against one another, Brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the Door. [10] As an example of suffering and patience, Brothers, take the Prophets who spoke in the Name of the Lord. [11] Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful. [12] But above all, my Brothers, do not swear, either by Heaven or by Earth or by any other oath, but let your “yes” be yes and your “no” be no, so that you may not fall under condemnation.
Revelation 12:11
[11] And they have conquered him by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
James 5:19–20
[19] My Brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the Truth and someone brings him back, [20] let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
1 Timothy 1:3–11
[3] As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine, [4] nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the stewardship from God that is by Faith. [5] The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere Faith. [6] Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussion, [7] desiring to be Teachers of the Law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make confident assertions.
[8] Now we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, [9] understanding this, that the Law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, [10] the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, [11] in accordance with the Gospel of the Glory of the Blessed God with which I have been entrusted.
1 Timothy 1:15–17
[15] The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Yeshua the Messiah came into the World to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. [16] But I received Mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Yeshua the Messiah might display his Perfect Patience as an example to those who were to believe in Him for Eternal Life. [17] To the King of the Ages, Immortal, Invisible, the Only God, be Honor and Glory forever and ever. Amen.
1 Timothy 1:18–20
[18] This charge I entrust to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that by them you may wage the Good Warfare, [19] holding Faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their Faith, [20] among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.
1 Timothy 2:1–7
[1] First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all People, [2] for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. [3] This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, [4] who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth. [5] For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Yeshua the Messiah, [6] who gave Himself as a ransom for all, which is the Testimony given at the proper time. [7] For this I was appointed a Preacher and an Apostle (I am telling the Truth, I am not lying), a Teacher of the Gentiles in Faith and Truth.
2 John 4–11
[4] I rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in the Truth, just as we were commanded by the Father. [5] And now I ask you, dear lady—not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning—that we love one another. [6] And this is Love, that we walk according to His Commandments; this is the Commandment, just as you have heard from the Beginning, so that you should walk in it. [7] For many deceivers have gone out into the World, those who do not confess the Coming of Jesus Christ in the Flesh(His Incarnation to die for us). Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist. [8] Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a Full Reward. [9] Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the Teaching of Messiah, does not have God. Whoever abides in the Teaching has both the Father and the Son. [10] If anyone comes to you and does not bring this Teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, [11] for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.
Jude 3–5
[3] Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our Common Salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the Faith that was once for all delivered to the Saints. [4] For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the Grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Yeshua the Messiah. [5] Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Yeshua, who saved a People out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
Psalm 51:1-13 verse 13 - Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
and sinners will return to you.
Matthew 28:18-20
And Yeshua came and said to them, “All Authority in Heaven and on Earth has been given to me.
Go therefore and make Disciples of all Nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I AM with you always, to the End of the Age.”
Jude 1:22-23
And have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh.
Love is demonstrated by obedience to our Lord in Heaven — Faith without works is dead.

[17] For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God's Will, than for doing evil.
James 1:12–16
[12] Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the Crown of Life, which God has promised to those who love Him. [13] Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and He himself tempts no one. [14] But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. [15] Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. [16] Do not be deceived, my beloved Brothers.
John 14:1–7
[1] “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. [2] In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I AM you may be also. [4] And you know the Way to where I AM going.” [5] Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” [6] Jesus said to him, “I AM the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:15–31
[15] “If you love me, you will keep my Commandments. [16] And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, [17] even the Spirit of Truth, whom the World cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. You know Him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. [18] “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. [19] Yet a little while and the World will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. [20] In that Day you will know that I AM in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. [21] Whoever has my Commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. [24] Whoever does not love me does not keep my Words. And the Word that you hear is not mine but the Father's who sent me. [25] “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. [26] But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my Name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. [27] Peace I leave with you; my Peace I give to you. Not as the World gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [28] You heard me say to you, ‘I AM going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I AM going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I (in Authority). [29] And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe. [30] I will no longer talk much with you, for the Ruler of this World (the Devil) is coming. He has no claim on me, [31] but I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may know that I love the Father. Rise, let us go from here.
James 1:19–27
[19] Know this, my beloved Brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; [20] for the anger of man does not produce the Righteousness of God. [21] Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the Implanted Word, which is able to save your souls. [22] But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. [23] For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. [24] For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. [25] But the one who looks into the Perfect Law, the Law of Liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. {Read Romans 8}
[26] If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless. [27] Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the World.
Luke 12:4–12
[4] “I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do. [5] But I will warn you whom to fear: fear Him who, after He has killed, has Authority to cast into Hell. Yes, I tell you, fear Him! [6] Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. [7] Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows. [8] “And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the Angels of God, [9] but the one who denies me before men will be denied before the Angels of God. [10] And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. [11] And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say, [12] for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”
Hebrews 3:7–19
[7] Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear His voice, [8] do not harden your hearts as in the Rebellion, on the Day of Testing in the Wilderness, [9] where your Fathers put me to the test and saw my Works for forty years. [10] Therefore I was provoked with that Generation, and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart; they have not known my Ways.’ [11] As I swore in my Wrath, ‘They shall not enter my Rest.’” [12] Take care, Brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the Living God. [13] But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “Today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. [14] For we have come to share in Messiah, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end. [15] As it is said, “Today, if you hear His Voice, do not harden your hearts as in the Rebellion.” [16] For who were those who heard and yet rebelled? Was it not all those who left Egypt led by Moses? [17] And with whom was He provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the Wilderness? [18] And to whom did He swear that they would not enter his Rest, but to those who were disobedient? [19] So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.
Hebrews 4
[1] Therefore, while the Promise of entering his Rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it. [2] For Good News came to us just as to them, but the Message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened. [3] For we who have believed enter that Rest, as he has said, “As I swore in my Wrath, ‘They shall not enter my Rest,’” although his Works were finished from the Foundation of the World. [4] For He has somewhere spoken of the Seventh Day in this way: “And God rested on the Seventh Day from all His Works.” [5] And again in this passage He said, “They shall not enter my Rest.” [6] Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the Good News failed to enter because of disobedience, [7] again he appoints a certain Day, “Today,” saying through David so long afterward, in the words already quoted, “Today, if you hear His Voice, do not harden your hearts.” [8] For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of another Day later on. [9] So then, there remains a Sabbath Rest for the People of God, [10] for whoever has entered God's Rest has also rested from his works as God did from His. [11] Let us therefore strive to enter that Rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. [12] For the Word of God is Living and Active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. [13] And no creature is hidden from His Sight, but all are naked and exposed to the Eyes of Him to whom we must give account. [14] Since then we have a Great High Priest who has passed through the Heavens, Yeshua, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. [15] For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. [16] Let us then with confidence draw near to the Throne of Grace, that we may receive Mercy and find Grace to help in time of need.
Ezekiel 18:21–28
[21] “But if a wicked person turns away from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. [22] None of the transgressions that he has committed shall be remembered against him; for the righteousness that he has done he shall live. [23] Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord GOD, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live? [24] But when a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice and does the same abominations that the wicked person does, shall he live? None of the righteous deeds that he has done shall be remembered; for the treachery of which he is guilty and the sin he has committed, for them he shall die. [25] “Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ Hear now, O house of Israel: Is my way not just? Is it not your ways that are not just? [26] When a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice, he shall die for it; for the injustice that he has done he shall die. [27] Again, when a wicked person turns away from the wickedness he has committed and does what is just and right, he shall save his life. [28] Because he considered and turned away from all the transgressions that he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
1 Peter 4:1–8
[1] Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, [2] so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God. [3] For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry. [4] With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign you; [5] but they will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. [6] For this is why the gospel was preached even to those who are dead, that though judged in the flesh the way people are, they might live in the spirit the way God does. [7] The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. [8] Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
Colossians 2:6–23
[6] Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, [7] rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. [8] See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. [9] For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, [10] and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority. [11] In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, [12] having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead. [13] And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, [14] by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. [15] He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him. [16] Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. [17] These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. [18] Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind, [19] and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God. [20] If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations—[21] “Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch” [22] (referring to things that all perish as they are used)—according to human precepts and teachings? [23] These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh.
2 Corinthians 11:3–4
[3] But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. [4] For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.
2 Corinthians 11:13–15
[13] For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. [14] And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Colossians 3:1–17

[16] Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. [17] And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
1 Peter 4:12–19
[12] Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. [13] But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. [14] If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. [15] But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a meddler. [16] Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. [6] Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, [7] casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Luke 6:43–49

Ephesians 2:11–22

[22] In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.

[9] But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. [10] Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. [11] Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul. Hebrews 12:11–17
[11] For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

Matthew 6:7–15

Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained. Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us. For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved.
